Sysex Base is a MIDI sysex file manager designed for iPhone and iPad, allowing users to back up their synth sounds, organize libraries, and reload them onto their synths efficiently.

Key features of Sysex Base include:

 <li>Record and transmit sysex data through a connected MIDI interface, wireless, or Bluetooth MIDI.</li>
 <li>Organize sysex files into folders, rename, and delete them with ease.</li>
 <li>Adjustable transmit speed suitable for older hardware compatibility.</li>
 <li>Automated sysex file backups utilizing iCloud.</li>
 <li>Import sysex files from various apps like Mail, Dropbox, or Google Drive.</li>
 <li>Easily export sysex files to other applications.</li>
 <li>Efficiently view data within sysex files, including individual bytes, manufacturer information, file size, and the number of sysex messages in each file.</li>
</ul>

In addition, Sysex Base offers the capability to simultaneously record incoming sysex data while transmitting sysex to synths. This feature is particularly useful for backing up older synths like the Casio CZ series that rely on specific trigger files to initiate a data dump. These trigger files can also be conveniently saved within the Sysex Base application.
